Construction on the Deuce of Clubs

Construction began in April on the Deuce of Clubs Streetscape project. The project will include widening sidewalks, installing brick pavers, planting street trees, irrigation, and electrical work for future street lighting. The project will run from Old Linden Road east to White Mountain Road. The scope of the project also includes a pedestrian plaza at the “Cooley split” and the construction of a new intersection at 9^th and the Deuce of Clubs. All businesses are open along the project and access will be maintained. Please show your support to the local businesses during the construction. The contractor will have pedestrian access open for the Fourth of July parade. Construction is scheduled for completion in September 2010.
