The Show Low Family Aquatic Center offers special events throughout the year during open swim times.  Special events are to enhance the experience that you may have at our facility by fun programs for people of all ages.  Below is a sample of some of our more popular special events.  These events can be ongoing or be changing throughout the year.  Please take a look at the online community calendar for upcoming events.

Penny Carnival

Come and play carnival games on the pool deck and win prizes!

Ice Cream Social

Come and make your own special ice cream dish!

Hawaiian Luau

This is one of our larger and most popular special events.  We will have games and prizes throughout the evening along with food and refreshments.  All based on a Hawaiian Luau theme!

Tie-Dye Day

Bring a t-shirt from home and tie-dye it out on the back patio at the pool.  You supply the shirt, we supply the dye and the supervision.

Family Fun Free Swim Night

This event is in celebration of National Family Week which usually happens in November of each year.  From 6:00 - 9:00 pm the aquatic center is open free of charge in hopes of promoting family togetherness.  Come and join us for a free evening filled with games, prizes, a live remote radio broadcast and food from local vendors.

Halloween Bash

As you may have guessed, this event happens on or around Halloween.  Come play games, win prizes and ride down the black slide.  Enjoy some refreshments while you are at it.  Wear your costume and receive half price admission.

Come and fish for a real live goldfish and take the goldfish home with you
