The Show Low Family Aquatic Center also offers programs centered around the aquatic center.  These programs can be seasonal or constant year round activities.  Please refer to this page often for updates on new and upcoming programs!!

Family Night
Monday night is family night at the Show Low Family Aquatic Center.  All parents get free use of the pool if accompanying a paying child.  If the child pays, the parent gets in free!  Come and take advantage of this great deal and spend a night out with your family!

Boy Scout Merit Badge Classes
The SLAC will be offering Boy Scout merit badge classes this summer for both the Swimming and the Lifesaving merit badges.  Each class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for two weeks.  This is a great opportunity for the single scout or for a whole troop.  Each class will be instructed by an approved merit badge counselor.  Upon successful completion of one or both of these classes, each participant will have their merit badge card filled out and signed.  Each scout will be required to bring their own merit badge card for signature.  Please note that successful completion of the swimming merit badge is a pre-requisite to the lifesaving merit badge.
Class Days: Tuesdays and Thursday mornings

Inner-Tube Water Polo League

The Show Low Family Aquatic Center is accepting team registrations for a new sports league Co-Ed Inner Tube Water Polo.  Each team will play with six players in the pool at a time (3 guys and 3 girls).  All water polo matches will be played while floating in an inner tube, which is provided.  There are no swimming skills required.  The only requirement is the desire to have fun and to get a little wet.  League format will be round robin followed by a post-season elimination tournament.  Awards go to top two teams in both league and tournament. Participants should be at least 16 years of age and older.  Come and be involved in the inaugural aquatics event of the year!!  Registration can be done either in person at the aquatic center, over the phone using a credit card, or ONLINE!

Costs: $75.00 per team

Camp X-treme / Jr. Lifeguard
This year our Jr. Lifeguard program will take on a new twist.  Instead of boring classroom lectures and lap swimming, we will be adding adventurous outings for fun and excitement.  This will be more of a two-week summer camp than our Jr. Lifeguard program of the past.  Some of the activities will include learning Jr. Lifeguarding skills and water safety techniques, canoeing, snorkeling, conditioning, hiking, orienteering, and more!!  Each participant will receive a Camp Extreme t-shirt and will be allowed to volunteer their time as a Jr. Lifeguard at the SLAC once the camp is over.  The camp will be held on weekdays for two weeks.  For more information, contact the aquatic center or register ONLINE!
