GIS Engineering/Environmental Tech

Salary: $28,000 - $30,200/ year, plus excellent benefits package.  The City of Show Low, Arizona, hub of the beautiful White Mountains, is looking to fill our Entry Level Engineering/Environmental Tech position.  The position requires a multiple emphasis on civil engineering technology, AutoCadd Civil 3D, ESRI ARCGIS Desktop applications, CAD related support and services, survey experience and familiarity with property descriptions, construction surveying, and the ability to read and understand civil plans, as well as performing environmental services such as sampling and data entry at the wastewater treatment plant.  Must also be familiar with ADOT/MAG specifications.  This position will report directly to the GIS Manager and will interface with the Engineering and Public Works Divisions.

 Expert knowledge of ESRI ARCGIS software; and, a good understanding of basic chemistry and laboratory safety are desired.  Requires an AA degree, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

 Physical requirements include ability to lift 90 lbs. on a regular basis; and, walking while carrying monitoring equipment for up to two miles.
