The City of Show Low, with a population of 11,800 year-round residents, and a seasonal population of approximately 25,000, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grants Manager.
(Full salary range $46,393 - $64,951 per year, plus excellent benefits) Hiring above the minimum will be based upon experience.
Performs professional work involving grant research, writing and administration; Identifies and researches grant funding opportunities; prepares grant applications for submission and public presentation; assists departments with grant identification, preparation and compliance as needed. The work involves considerable initiative in establishing a grant funding strategy; establishing familiarity with city plans, identifying new grant funding sources that become available at the federal, state and local levels, while insuring timeline and regulatory compliance; establishes a grant database, maintains grant files and documentation; establishes and maintains effective relations with other employees, agencies and public officials; as well as responsibility for administering programs related to grant funding, specifically transit.
Desired minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelorís Degree in Public or Business Administration, Finance, Journalism or a closely related field and two (2) years of responsible experience related to grants or program management.
