A young faery named Sneezle wakes on Midsummer Eve to find an adventure awaiting him. Strange things are happening in the faery realm and Sneezle must go on a quest to save the day. This book has wonderful, imaginative illustrations of many different scenes in the story. If you enjoy reading fantasy books, you will really have fun with this title. Fun on the Run: Travel Games and Songs
by Joanna Cole
Catalog:
J 793.7 Cole

Are you going on a long car trip and you know you will be bored? Try this book for lots of fun. It is full of great travel entertainment  including word games, memory games, license plate games, jokes and songs. I used to play the game I Spy (page 35) and the License Plate Race (page 51) when I was a little girl. It is still lots of fun to challenge yourself and your family.

For other games to play in the car, try Super String Games by Camilla Gryski (J 793.9 Gryski)

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul
by Jack Canfield

This book is great if you only have a little bit of time to read each day. There are funny and inspirational stories and cartoons that really apply to life as a teenager. If you like this book also check out the many other Chicken Soup for the Soul books in the Young Adult and Adult sections (158 Canfield for Adult section)
