LIBRARY CARDS ARE NOW
REQUIRED
The Show Low
Public Library has installed a new computer self-check-in system, called “Pharos,” which allows you to
use your library card to logon to any available public computer at the Library.
Along with
Pharos and in an effort to provide better service for all library users, we now
require a library card to use library services, including use of the library
public computers. By requiring users to have a card, staff will have more
time to personally assist library users who have questions or need help.
Don’t have a library card? You can get
one at the Library Circulation Desk, with your picture ID and a postmarked envelope with your name and
current mailing address on it.
Without proof of address, you will receive a Temporary Card (good for 3 weeks) to allow time to bring the
required proof of address (postmarked envelope).
Lost your card? You can get
a new one for $1.00 at the Library Circulation Desk.
Just visiting? You may use a
temporary GUEST card (for computer
use only). GUEST cards are available in
the Library Computer Lab or at the Circulation Desk.
You must use your own card. Using
another person’s card for Internet access or letting them use yours may result
in loss of library privileges.
