PEE WEE T-BALL
PROGRAM
INFORMATION
1.
League Director: Cathy Solomon
2. Games
will be played at the Little League Field.
3. Players
must provide their own gloves.
4. It
is recommended that players wear sweatpants or shorts. A team T-Shirt will be
provided.
5. No
score or standings will be kept. The PeeWee T-Ball program is based on
learning, participation, and sportsmanship with the philosophy being: THE CHILD
IS FIRST – EVERYONE IS A WINNER.
6. Parents
are requested to encourage the players and coaches. The coaches are giving
their time free of charge and should be complimented for their efforts.
7. Any
parent volunteers who are willing to “coach” from various spots around the field
will be appreciated. The attention span of many children in this age group is
very short, and adult encouragement during the game is necessary.
RULES
1. No
official score will be kept.
2. Half
of an inning is over when the offensive team has batted through the line-up.
The last hitter runs all the way to home.
3. All
team players are in the line-up, and will play a position on the field.
4. A
coach or parent volunteer should play the “catcher” position on the field.
5.
Allow the defensive team to perform an “Out”. The offensive player will be
considered OUT if he/she is thrown OUT at a base, or at home. However, the OUTS
are not counted in the inning. If the player, who was put out, really wants to
stay on the base, allow them to do so.
6. Time
limit on games is one hour.
