Records
Records handles all
phases of record-keeping and public record distribution for the Show
Low Police Department. Duties include maintaining and providing
copies of police and accident reports to insurance companies,
attorneys and the public, as well as providing information on arrests
and major cases to the Navajo County attorney and other agencies for
prosecution. In 2009, Records processed 3,3741 Departments reports.
Other duties include:

Handling walk-in lobby traffic.

Provide police and
accident reports to public upon request.

Video and audio
duplication as necessary for court proceedings, attorneys and
public.

Monitoring uniform Crime Reporting (UCR)
and juvenile justice compliance.

Submitting all reportable accidents
to the Arizona Department of Transportation in Phoenix.

Providing
fingerprinting
to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays
2PM-4PM.

Issue alarm permits.

Provide back ground
checks for apartments, residence and salvation army assistance.
