Narcotics/MCAT

One Show Low detective is assigned to MCAT, Navajo County's multi-agency drug task force. In 2005, MCAT members:

• Assisted in state and nationwide DEA operations.

• Followed up on SLPD drug-related crimes.

• Investigated prescription abuse/fraud cases.

• Participated in major drug-related crime investigations.

• Assisted local agencies with undercover operations, securing of crime scenes, and search and arrest warrants.

• Made knock-and-talk visits to residences with suspicious activities.
