RE:                 Recommendation Regarding Development Fees

The Development Fee Committee met on April 30, 2007, to discuss the current status of the City’s development fees and to make a recommendation to the City Council.

The Committee discussed the Tischler Report on development fees and the imposition of a new transportation development fee.  Committee Member Don Staley made a Motion recommending Council assess a transportation development fee based upon the Development Fees Report prepared by Tischler & Associates, Inc., consistent with previously adopted development fees.  The Motion was seconded by Kathleen Behrends, all members voted in favor of the Motion.

Based upon the foregoing, it is the recommendation of the Development Fee Committee that the Show Low City Council assess a new transportation development fee based on the Tischler Development Fees Report,consistent with previously adopted development fees .
