The City of Show Low offers courtesy snow berm removal from driveways to citizens who are physically challenged and who reside alone or with no other able bodied person. The removal is considered to be a non-emergency task and will be completed at the end of the snowstorm when all City streets are cleared.
An application form must be on file with the City of Show Low and those requesting this service must meet the requirements stated on the application. A physician's signature is required on all applications for snow berm removal. Forms submitted without a physician’s signature or a letter from the physician will not be accepted.
If you encounter a life threatening or medical emergency that necessitates you leaving your residence prior to your berm removal, you should contact the Show Low Police Department by dialing 911. Please remember, dialing 911 initiates an emergency response by members of the police department, fire department, and/or ambulance.
An application may be completed by printing out the on-line form or by contacting Cari Bilbie, Operations Secretary at 928-532-4100 and requesting a form be mailed to you. To print out the on-line form, please click here.
