PURSUANT to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the Show Low Board of Adjustment, and to the general public, that a SPECIAL MEETING, which will be open to the public, will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 180 N. 9^th Street, Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona.

1. Call to Order.  Chairman Shannon called the hearing to order at 10:09 AM.

2. Roll Call.

3. Pledge of Allegiance.

4. PUBLIC HEARING - Request for a Variance to Section 15-1-44 (I) 1 of the City Code submitted by Mr. Kenneth Giles, on Property Located between W. Hall Street and W. Huning Street, Show Low, Arizona, more particularly known as A.P. Nos. 209-56-034A and 209-56-035A (Justen Tregaskes)

    A. Staff Summary Report presentation.

    B. Applicant presentation.

    C. Consideration of this request. 

Board Member Armanno moved to approve the variance request, with the addition of Condition #1 requiring a top rail on the fencing along the streetsides of W. Huning and W. Hall Streets, and Condition #2 that, in the event the property is sold and a house is built upon it, when the house is built, the fence will either be shortened to four feet in height or moved back the required twenty feet.  Vice-Chairman Reynolds seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-2(Chairman Shannon, Vice-Chairman Lou Reynolds, and Board Member Armanno voted in favor of the motion; Board Member Hair and Board Member Jernigan voted against the motion).

5. Minutes:

    A. Consideration of the Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Show Low Board of Adjustment Held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007.

The minutes of the September 26, 2007 meeting were approved by unanimous vote.

6. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 11:59 AM.
