Meeting Agendas
Council meetings are held at 7 PM on the first and third
Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers inside the Public
Library, 181 North 9th Street.
These meetings, as well as the Planning and Zoning Commission Meetings held on
the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 PM, are televised on Cable
Television City 4 (Channel 4) and shown live on the internet at
www.showlowtv.com. Study Sessions and Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
City Council and Planning and Zoning
Meeting agendas and packets are prepared the Friday prior to the
regularly-scheduled meetings and posted at least 24
hours prior to each meeting under the
City Clerk section of the City of Show Low's web
site as well as on four publicly accessible bulletin boards. (Public Meeting Notice Locations) Agendas of all other public
bodies are also posted at least 24
hours prior to each meeting. Please note that not all of them meet
regularly. Therefore, some of these web pages may be blank until a meeting
is scheduled.
A video recording or an annotated Agenda Summary showing any action taken by the City Council
will be posted to the website within three business days after the meeting.
Meetings of the Commissions and Boards will be posted
to the website within ten business days after the meeting. The requirement for an Agenda Summary
or video is a state law
for all public bodies and was effective beginning September 21, 2006.
Citizens wishing to have an item placed on an agenda should contact the
City
Clerk's Office. The current policy of the City Council is that any member of
the Council may request that an item be placed on the agenda. Any request from
the public for placement of an item on the agenda is approved by the City
Manager. Such request must be made in writing to the City Clerk's Office at
least one week prior to the meeting.
